Identity and Branding Work for a South Manchester Public House: Invitations, stationery, and additional material

The public house was originally formed from three cottages dating back to 1512, which made up the front part of the building. These were first used as a school, before becoming an inn and coach house in the early 1800s. The name is derived from the horse racing that used to take place in the nearby Chorlton Park.

Prior to the incumbent owners (Holts brewery), the run-down and tired Horse and Jockey Pub was purchased and renovated by Peter Dalton, the owner of Hoi Polloi Pub Co Limited. The transformation turned it into a true community gem, set in the fine location overlooking Chorlton's lush, leafy Green.
