I was heavily involved with a hard working marketing team, who were very receptive to ideas, on the creative work for the concept and design work on Everton Football Clubs 15/16 Season Ticket Campaign. It involved a lot of research, consultation and development along the way, to get it to finished article. Everton is a real family club with strong traditional values who don’t forget their past. Its a club with a strong sense of self and place within the community, and it was a real pleasure to work on the campaign.
The concept came from terrace chant and the idea of ‘authenticity’ of the Everton fan. ‘We are Chosen’ which later in the campaign extended into ‘Born not manufactured’. Images of bought players were used with ‘Chosen’ and home grown players used on the ‘Born’ aspect, photography used an HD treatment to give an ultra real feel to the the images.
